Asian Fashion - Influencing the World
The Asian fashion industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world of fashion today and it is always increasing in its popularity among those people who belong to western countries. If you are searching for some oriental style, ready to wear clothes then the internet is a good option. There are many good websites available on the internet that carries all the information related to Asian styles. These websites can provide you with a good variety to choose from.
What is more, anime, manga, computer games and other aspects of Japanese pop culture which are so popular among teenagers have had a great influence on today's fashion trends. European youngsters try to copy the chic Asian look by wearing cute, baggy clothes, glitzy accessories and messed up, fringed hairstyles.
If you want to look like a modern Asian girl, you should wear cute, micro mini dresses and skirts in soft shades of pink or blue, with lace trim and pearl applications; denim shorts paired with fluid white tops or boyfriend jeans worn with a Ladies leather coat are also popular outfits among Asian young girls. Actually, anything is appropriate as long as it makes you look sweet and innocent. One of the most recognizable street fashion trends in Japan is the Lolita style. The cute girls from Harajuku, Shinjuku or Shibuya love to dress up like sweet, gothic, classic and punk Lolitas, each style being characterized by distinctive clothing items, accessories and make-up.
Fashion Show Events
A fashion show is an event put on by a fashion designer to showcase his or her upcoming line of clothing. The first American fashion show likely took place in 1903 in the New York City store Ehrlich Brothers. American retailers imported the concept of the fashion show in the early 1900s.
Fashion
Featuring runway garments from the spring and fall/winter collections of ten influential couturiers and designers, the exhibition explores the ideas and inspirations motivating Paris fashion today, and why, in an age of globalization and instantaneous communication, this venerable city remains the fashion capital. The city has been a magnet for stylish men and women since the seventeenth century, but the French fashion industry has evolved considerably over the centuries and never more than in the last few years.
Recent assessments of the current state of Paris fashion have varied widely, with some pundits announcing its death, and others claiming that it is closer to fine art than ever before. By using fashion, a medium which has always been associated with self-expression and personal identity, these designers seek to demonstrate how the use (or misuse) of technology and its modes of production have the power to stimulate, delight, and inspire in ways as yet untapped in the fashion world. In the 1800s, "fashion parades" periodically took place in Paris couture salons.

Asian Wedding Dresses Reflect Their Country's Beauty and Culture
Here is part 2 of my look at traditional Asian wedding dresses; you can find part 1 on Ezine, too. I continue to marvel at the individual beauty, richness and tradition of each Asian country's wedding attire and have learned so much while researching these magnificent wedding traditional dresses and headdresses.
Indian Wedding Dresses
These dresses reflect the Indian culture and are bright in color with a lot of embroidery and beadwork in intricate Indian patterns.
The majority of the Indian brides wear some type of headpiece that has jewels coming to a point in the middle of the forehead. They sometimes include a head veil that does not cover the face. It is simply worn over the bride's head and is of a thinner, sheer fabric.
White Wedding Abaya
A number of countries in Asia are Muslim and the wedding dress is an abaya.
You could describe this as a long flowing robe and is most often in white to signify purity.
It must be noted that not all Muslim brides in Asia would wear white abaya's and in those countries Henna is traditional for the Indian bride.
Del
There are 2 kinds of important wedding ceremonies in Mongolia.
One of them is the traditional wedding ceremony where the couples wear traditional clothes called "Del". The Del is made from cotton and silk with patterns. Another kind of wedding ceremony is the modern wedding ceremony; the bride wears a white gown.

Know All About Sarees
India is a land of exotic locations and home to approximately one billion people. Indians follow different religions and have completely different cultures and that is reflected in their dressing styles, prominently amongst the women. The traditional wear of the Indian ladies is the Saree pronounced Sa-ree or sari. Basically a saree is a strip of unstitched cloth, ranging from four to nine metres in length that is draped over the body in various styles. Though very popular in India saree is worn in Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Burma, and Malaysia. Though the way of wearing a saree may vary in different cultures, the most common style is for the sari to be wrapped around the waist, and the other end brought over the shoulder. In Indian culture the sari is usually worn over a petticoat or "lehenga" (in Hindi), it is topped up with a blouse known as choli which forms the upper covering. History is testimony to the fact that a saree or its predecessor were even worn during 1800 B.C. which is visible in the clay toys unearthed in the ruins where once Indus Valley Civilization flourished. In the present age saree has gone a step further and has even gather attention of top designers, who all are responsible making saree not only a fashion statement but also a global wear. Apart from Indian and Malaysian celebrities many Westerns like Shakira, Liz Hurley, Madonna, and Hillary Clinton have tried out this traditional wear and even liked it. Recently even Michelle Obama was observed exploring about saree during the Obamas visit to India.
Sri Lankan Wedding Traditions & Sri Lankan Bride's Dress
Sri Lankan religious and cultural traditions feature a second reception after the couple's honeymoon. The family of the groom gives these receptions. It is known as a homecoming, and signifies the bringing back of a bride by the groom. Brides left their homes and joined the groom, a practice still widely held in rural areas and villages. Nowadays, most wedded couples opt to build their own homes, though at times there is a period of living at the groom's home until enough resources are saved for the move into their own homes. Grooms are known to live with their bride's family at times.
As with many similar Asian traditions of culture, Sri Lankan grooms and brides change into different types of dress at the conclusion of the reception. Like in the British tradition, this change of Sri Lankan bridal dress is named the going away dress, which is worn when the wedded couple are about to exit to their Toronto honeymoon. The Sri Lankan bridal dress is much more formal than the western tradition of dress, not unlike the bridal clothing, but can be of different colors and styles. This practice of changing the bridal dress to the going away clothing spans almost all Sri Lankan religions and cultures.

Designer clothes are generally costly and not without reason. People looks for well-known designer apparels for reasons.

It gives the quality that customer requires, comfort, using specific textures for specific needs, following the fashion trends and continuous introducing new creative fashion. Customers likes the elegance. Clothing can represent the identity of the person. Like in old times, in certain parts of the the world, only kings and lords of the region were allowed to wear certain clothes with certain colours. It shows the status of the person. Subconsciously some also feels the self-confidence when they are wearing famous branded clothing. Others may look for such apparels for simple reasons such as quality and comfort. For instance, especially when it come to trouser, I found Armani, or Ermenegildo Zegna very comfortable comparatively.
